Research by scientists at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Smithsonian’s Museum Conservation Institute find that cotton masks are helping to stop the pandemic and that a double layer cotton mask may be more effective than a single layer surgical mask!

La Paloma Studio is excited to be representing a wide array of outsourced fabrics and also uniquely designed fabrics for our masks by artists from diverse backgrounds and experiences. The fabrics, either specifically composed for our mask format or umbrella designed patterns are artful and thoughtfully considered.
These Artist Designed Collaborations are limited edition and custom printed in London, England. They vary from thoroughly fun to exotically colorful to subtly elegant to minimally sheik.
La Paloma Studio believes masks should be worn for the safety and health of those who wear them and for those with whom one may come in contact. So why not consider them a fashion accessory? Express yourself while staying safe and healthy at the same time!
We feel our 100% cotton non-medical grade masks are better than many of those available and here is why:
The six different sizes we offer—with each mask having a flexible nose piece and adjustable ear loops for the perfect individual fit.
The shape of our masks form to your face better than most—they are snug enough to keep you safe with just enough room to breathe comfortably.
All of the masks we offer are double layered so you can insert a PM2.5 Carbon Filter between the layers to provide even greater protection.
The wide variety of 100% cotton fabric designs we have available from the utmost-fun to the uber-sheik!
All of our masks come packaged in clear plant-based biodegradable sealed envelopes. They will dissolve in the ground or water!
And a portion of our profits go to various not-for-profit organizations such as those involved with keeping our planet healthy and clean.
